Position Summary
The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures equipment reliability and supports continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, dismantle, and move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans and blueprints.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment. 
  • Align and balance equipment using precision tools (laser alignment, dial indicators, etc.). 
  • Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or needed adjustments. 
  • Weld, cut, and fabricate components as needed. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations. 
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime. 
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. 

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Millwright certification or apprenticeship preferred.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. 
  • Experience with welding, rigging, and equipment alignment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in heavy industrial environments (cement plants, mining, manufacturing, or similar).
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs. 
  • Experience with MSHA or OSHA safety standards. 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. 
  • Work in outdoor and industrial environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. 
  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, and work extended hours as needed .
