About the Role:
 We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and instrumentation used in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in industrial electronics with experience working in hazardous environments. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic and instrumentation systems used in drilling, production, and processing facilities. 
  • Troubleshoot control systems, PLCs, sensors, and communication networks to minimize downtime. 
  • Perform diagnostics and preventive maintenance on field and plant equipment. 
  • Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve electrical issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in accordance with company and industry regulations. 
  • Document maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely. 
  • Collaborate with engineers, operations teams, and field service personnel on system upgrades and project implementation.

Qualifications:  
  • 2+ years of experience as an electronics technician in the oil and gas or industrial sector. 
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems, motor control circuits, and process instrumentation. 
  • Familiarity with safety standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in remote field or Shop environments as required.

Preferred: 
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs and automation systems. 
  • Valid safety or H2S certification.
